Indoor Play-Areas around Tokyo

As it is getting colder and colder everyday, today we are sharing some indoor play-areas for kids in the Tokyo area. Check these out when your little ones are fully charged for a fun filled day but the weather is not looking good enough.

ASOBono! at Tokyo Dome City

Addmission Fee: Children: 1 hour ticket JPY930

1 day free pass (weekdays only): JPY1,550 (JPY1,650 from April 1, 2018)

With plenty of toys and play equipment, your children will have tons of fun at the largest indoor facility in Tokyo.


NHK Studio Park

Address: 2-2-1 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, 150-0041

Hours: 10:00 to 18:00 (entry until 17:30)

Closed: The fourth Monday of each month (or the following day if that Monday is a national holiday), New Year holidays

Admission Fee: JPY200 (Adults) / Children are free

Your children can take a look at NHK broadcasting from behind the scenes, and take part in hands-on activities such as dialogue recording, making animated videos, and becoming a news broadcaster.


Haginaka Park Swimming Pool    (website only in Japanese)

Address: 3-26-46 Haginaka, Ota-ku, Tokyo, 144-0047

Admission Fee: JPY480 (16 years old ~) / JPY 200 (~15 years old)

This is a public swimming pool for children aged 3 and older. There is a wading pool, a whirl pool, water slides, and a 25 meter pool to enjoy at a very reasonable price.
