World Masters Games 2021 KANSAI

The world’s greatest comprehensive sports competition of general participatory type is coming  to Kansai on Saturday, May 15, 2021!

♣THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN♣

The first World Masters Games were held in Toronto, Canada, in 1985.  Since then the Games have been held every four years in various places, including Denmark, Australia, and the United States.  The Kansai World Masters Games in 2021 will be the 10th hosting and 1st time in Asia of this international sporting event.

After the excitement of Tokyo Olympics Games, you may want to challenge yourself.  Here are highlights from official website:

  • Date: May 15, 2021 (Sat) – May 30, 2021 (Sun)
  • ANYONE aged 30* and over can join with no upper age limit.  *The lower age limit varies with each event.
  • Multiple entries possible for 55 events of 32 sports.
  • Anticipated No. of Participants: Approx. 50,000 people from all over the world.  – outside Japan: 20,000 people, within Japan: 30,000 people
  •  Sports/Discipline:
